About the Event
Nonviolent Communication is more than a way of speaking and listening — it's a way of being.
Blaming, shaming, fear-mongering, exaggerating, stereotyping, and so much more escalates conflict, evaporates compassion, disheartens our spirits, weakens our collective power.
What if we instead worked to hold our judgments lightly, got curious about and honored both your needs and mine, and were committed to personal responsibility AND collective accountability?
Join me for this FREE 1-hour introduction to the theory and practice of Nonviolent Communication. You can expect:
- An overview of NVC concepts and values
- A rundown of the NVC framework (observations, feelings, needs, requests)
- Time for Q&A
- Some useful handouts to download and utilize
- A recording of the presentation available until Friday the 24th
And I promise to only talk about my upcoming NVC skill-building support group for 3 minutes! (Unless there are questions about it. ;)
Simply register with an email address you actually check and you'll get the Zoom link, PDF downloads, and link to (re)watch the presentation. Please be in touch if you have any questions!
"What I want in my life is compassion, a flow between myself and others based upon a mutual giving from the heart."
—Marshall Rosenberg, founder of NVC
